Delete your account

1. Delete your account from the app

You can permanently delete your Daypool account at any time from within the app. This action is immediate and irreversible.

• Open the app and go to Profile.
• Tap "Delete account".
• Confirm the deletion.

2. No access to the app?

If you can't use the app (lost device, locked account, etc.), you can request deletion by emailing privacy@daypool.app from the address associated with your account. We'll verify your identity and delete the account within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes: your profile (name, email, photo), your membership in all groups (if you were an admin, the longest-standing member automatically takes over that role), your marked availability, your poll votes, and your push notification token.

4. Retention period

Data is deleted within a maximum of 30 days after the request, unless the law requires us to keep it longer (e.g. tax obligations).
